My favorite smoothie
After reading various medical journals and books and watching an eye-opening video on youtube.com, I learned that eating fruits provides sugar but the sugar that we get by directly eating fruits is not harmful. One medical professional claims that after consuming carbohydrates, eating bread, or rice, he usually eats fruits which in his tests lowers the blood sugar. So I have made fruits an important part of my regular diet. In order to get many fruits, I create my own smoothie. I bought a blender from Costco. It is a very powerful blender and I use the bigger jar that it came with. I make a full jar and four of us in my family share it.
Here are my ingredients:
Orange -1
Apple -1
Celery – 1 stick
Pineapple – two circular slices
Pomegranate juice – half a cup
Watermelon – fill the rest of the jar.
